Privacy Policy
1. Information processed
Depending on the features you use, information includes your email, display name, account identifiers, authentication records, messages, uploaded files, generated results, model usage, orders and payment status. Technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, cookies and security logs supports operation and abuse prevention.
2. Why information is used
Information is used to authenticate accounts, deliver AI responses and tools, retain signed-in chat history, calculate usage, fulfill purchases, resolve support requests and protect the service.
Depending on the purpose and applicable law, we process information as necessary to provide the service and perform our agreement with you, for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the service, with your consent where required, and to comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. AI, tools and payment providers
Relevant messages, context and attachments may be sent to the AI or tool providers needed for the requested feature. When Stripe payments are enabled and selected, Stripe processes payment information under its Privacy Policy. Authentication, hosting and email providers may also process information needed for their functions.
We use third-party service providers to operate Haoya, including AI model and tool providers, cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, authentication services, email providers, analytics and security services, and payment processors such as Stripe where payments are enabled. Depending on the provider and feature used, information may be processed in countries or regions outside your place of residence. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate contractual, technical or organizational safeguards for cross-border processing.
The data retention and training practices of AI model providers depend on their applicable policies. We do not make a blanket promise of zero retention or no training.
4. Cookies and local storage
The site uses cookies and browser storage for sign-in, visitor trial limits, language and theme preferences, and release routing where enabled. Visitor trial conversations are stored by the service and restored after refresh using the visitor cookie and a conversation reference saved in the browser. Clear chat removes the displayed session and starts a new conversation; it does not reset daily limits or imply immediate deletion of service records or data held by upstream processors. Clearing browser storage can sign you out and reset preferences.
Website and desktop analytics
We use self-hosted Umami to measure page visits, referral sources, campaign parameters, approximate location, browser and device information, and use of major features in our website and desktop client. Events include login, registration, message submission and execution outcomes, project and file operations, sharing, extensions, scheduled tasks, starting checkout and submitting feedback. We distinguish Web and desktop and cloud, local and SSH execution where available. The tracker does not use analytics cookies or account identifiers to link devices. We filter private URL parameters and user-defined titles, and do not send messages, file names, file contents, search text, commands, feedback contents, passwords or authentication tokens to analytics. Session replay and heatmaps are not enabled. Collection is disabled when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.
5. Retention and security
Signed-in conversations, files, account records, billing and operational records may be stored for their respective purposes.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing the service, maintaining accounts, fulfilling purchases, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and abuse, maintaining security, and complying with legal obligations.
Account information, signed-in conversations and uploaded files may be retained while the account or relevant feature remains active. Billing and transaction records may be retained for the period required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention and legal compliance. Security and operational logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
When information is no longer required, it may be deleted, anonymized or removed through our normal retention and backup processes.
Access controls and authentication help protect information, but no storage or transmission system is risk-free.
